Hike description

1. From the Talstation (904m), do one of the following (ordered from hardest to easiest):
   • Walk 9Km to Kühgund Alm (1748m), then a further 5Km to Kanzelwand (2058m), then 5Km along the ridge to Fellhorn (2038m).
   • Take the other lift up to Kanzelwandhaus (1520m), walk 8Km to Kanzelwand (2058m), then 5Km along the ridge to Fellhorn (2038m).
   • Take the same other lift up to Kanzelwandhaus (1520m), walk 7Km, via Gundsattel (c.1820m) to Fellhorn (2038m).
   • Take the same other lift up to Kanzelwandhaus (1520m), walk 4Km, via the main lift’s mittelstation (c.1760m) to Fellhorn (2038m).
   • Take the main lift up to the mittelstation (c.1760m) and walk 2Km to Fellhorn (2038m).
   • Take the main lift up to Fellhorn (2038m).
2. Walk 6Km north east along the ridge to Söllereck (1706m).
3. Walk 4Km east to Freibergsee (982m), going right round it to the Strandcafe.
4. Follow path 22 north east and then north for 4Km to Prinzenstrasse (c.800m).
5. After 2Km Prinzenstrasse meets Weststrasse. Turn left and after 100m turn right into Poststrasse, which leads to Oberstdorf station (794m).

We’ll eat at the Dampfbierbrauerei. (Please try to make it for the meal – it’s the best part of the day!)
