Kartoffel Joghurt Salat

Ingredients

  • 500ml plain joghurt
  • 250ml mayonnaise
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • salt and lots of coarse-ground pepper
  • 2 onions
  • 1Kg potatoes
  • 2 bunches of fresh chives (Schnittlauch)

Method

  1. Cook potatoes.
  2. Finely chop onions, garlic, chives.
  3. Mix all ingredients except potatoes in a mixing bowl.
  4. When potatoes are soft and crumbly (and ready to absorb lots of flavour) place pan with potatoes in sink and let cold water flow over them for a couple of minutes. Then add potatoes to mixing bowl.
  5. Refridgerate. Don’t eat the same day.
  6. Serve with fresh bread and butter.
