What can fad do?

• compare directory hierarchies at different times (e.g. for intrusion detection or as a reminder to document a system configuration change),
• compare directory hierarchies at different locations (e.g. for working out why one version of something works and another one doesn’t).

Installation

1. Log in as root.
2. Configure access to the pasta.freemyip.com repositories.
3. Install the software by running:

   apt-get install fad
